Plas Mawr is the best Elizabethan town house in Britain. Located in Conwy, home to one of Edward I’s castles, Conwy is the perfect place for history lovers. The picture in this postcard is that of Plas Mawr's gatehouse as viewed from the High Street. We visited this beautiful house after we first toured Conwy Castle in summer of 2023. It was like going back in time when you are inside the town house as you tour the different parts of the house and you also got to know the lives of the people who once lived here.
